Can you believe each one of these photos were taken in the comfort of my own home?
When you come home from the hospital and have to adjust to your new role as a mom, go to check up appointments, and try to stay awake during those frequent middle of the night feedings, the last thing you want to do is have to take your baby to a studio for their newborn photos.
Personally, I’m drawn to more of a lifestyle approach when it comes to newborn photography. I want them remembered just as they are, and a big part of that is having them photographed in the comfort of their own home. Believe it or not, as little as they are, babies have a sense of familiarity and behave much better in the comfort of their own home. From your baby’s nursery and their precious newborn details, to that special bond they share with you, there is something extra special to having all aspects of this stage photographed.
Ava, being a Valentines day baby and with spring right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to incorporate tulips in her photos. Simply shot in her own crib, on a fluffy blanket and in her bassinet, these photos mean so much to me and will be treasured till the end of time. I cannot wait to see her reaction when when we look through these once she’s a little older. Oh the joys of motherhood. <3
Time flies by, memories slowly fade away.. but sometimes, just one little moment, captured in a photograph, can last a lifetime.
These photos were taken during our in-home newborn photography session. If you are located in the Cleveland, Akron or Medina areas and expecting a little bundle of joy, I would love to capture those precious details of your newborn baby. Feel free to browse through my newborn information page and use the contact form to get in touch with me to schedule your session.
