Oh I cannot believe I get to blog a newborn session for my own baby girl! Ava Mae arrived on Valentines day – she came by surprise because obviously she could not wait to meet us. 🙂 I consider it a gift getting three extra weeks with our sweet girl! We were truly blessed with a healthy baby and a safe delivery.

I don’t think there is anything better in this world than becoming a mama. Pregnancy journey shows you how incredible your body is and what it’s capable of but meeting your baby changes your entire world around. I did not know my heart was capable of so much love until I met my little sweetheart.

These are just a few photos that highlight our first few days at home as a family of three. Between feedings and diaper changes, there isn’t a lot of time for anything else but I am so glad we will always have these photos to treasure and remember just how special this chapter in our lives really was.
