I can hardly believe I get to share a newborn session for my own baby girl. Ava Mae arrived on Valentine’s Day — a sweet surprise, as she clearly couldn’t wait to meet us. We feel so grateful for a healthy baby and a safe delivery, and I cherish the unexpected gift of a few extra weeks with her.

There’s truly nothing that compares to becoming a mother. Pregnancy shows you just how strong and capable your body is, but meeting your baby changes your entire world. I never knew my heart could hold so much love until the moment I met her.

These images capture a glimpse of our first days at home as a family of three. Between feedings and diaper changes, life feels beautifully full — and I’m so thankful to have these photos to look back on and remember just how special this season has been.
