This session was such a dream! Taking senior pictures at the Cleveland Museum of Art really is the perfect location for spectacular senior pictures. Amanda wanted to get her portraits done before the start of her senior year and as a result we were able to get this amazing summer glow!

Fun fact: I graduated from Brunswick High School as well but umm 10 years ago, which feels like just yesterday! I remember my own senior session, oh boy was it awkward! I felt awkward and looked awkward in every single shot. Getting senior portraits done is definitely an investment and should not feel awkward. You should feel excited about your session and have fun during it! If you feel awkward, something is wrong. Being a portrait photographer and on the other side of things now, I truly see a difference in pictures based on the photographer’s interaction with the client. During my sessions, I might say a few silly things to take your mind off of that big black box right in front of you, I might embarrass myself in front of you but I will let your personality shine through!

These photos are a perfect example of just that. They truly reflect Amanda’s joyful and easy going personality. She is the sweetest person with so many amazing opportunities ahead of her. I am truly honored to have been able to capture this special season of her life.
