This engagement at the Cleveland Museum of art is nothing but magical! Bailey and Cory chose the perfect season for their engagement photos. Spring time is so dreamy in Cleveland, especially around the Cleveland Museum of Art area. We actually didn’t get so lucky the first time around as a few minutes into the shoot we got caught in a downpour! Soaking wet we had to reschedule the session. But the second time around…well, I’ll let you see for yourself.
I know you’re dying to see the photos so I’ll let you get to it. Just a little warning… once you spot their puppy Stella, your heart might skip a beat. And just wait till you hear the couple’s love story (at the end of the post)! It’s a good one!
I love sharing my couples love stories and this one is a special one! I’ll love to tell you all about it but it’d be much better if you hear it from Bailey herself:
Q. How did you two meet?
A. We met in college at a mutual friends house. Cory helped me move out of my apartment (with some bribing of free pizza). The rest of the day was spent singing karaoke and from that day on, it was us. We’ve been together ever since!
Q. Tell me about your first date.
A. We went to Qdoba after Cory helped me pack up my apartment. Cory offered to buy with confidence and when he went to pay, his card got declined and I paid for the meal. We still joke about it to this day.
Q. I’m dying to know about your proposal! Please share a bit about that special day:
A. We went on a cruise after Cory’s college graduation (just the two of us) and he proposed on the captains night in the dining room during dinner. He arranged for someone to take photos and he asked my parents for permission before we left for the cruise (without me knowing). The rest of the cruise was our “engagementmoon” as we like to call
Q. What are your favorite things to do together?
A. We enjoy road trips and singing in the car together going anywhere/everywhere. Our favoriting things to do together range from watching Netflix, attending sporting events, and going on dinner dates.
Q. If you could have a date anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
A. Our date would be in St. Marten on a private catamaran to snorkel and hang out on the beach. It was our favorite excursion of both of our cruises and probably our favorite day together (it was the day after he proposed).
How sweet is this couple!? I’m so glad I had the privilege of capturing their love story and cannot wait for their big day!
XX,
Juliana
